SALARY RANGE: $55,000 - $60,000 (dependent upon degree held at time of hire; opportunities for summer teaching may be available)

The Assistant Professor is responsible for functions related to teaching 15 hours of coursework, advising, and supporting various college initiatives. Faculty responsibilities include leading one departmental or college initiative and assisting with others as requested. College and Departmental Initiatives currently include Boots on the Ground Community Engagement Mentors, Ed Rising, Invest Adventure Club, Grant Writing, Unlock Education Regional Conference, and Impact on Education Regional Conference. Additionally, the assistant professor will perform the responsibilities of a site coordinator which includes the following roles: (1) the liaison between the university and school district, (2) participate in mentor teacher trainings and stakeholder meetings, and (3) coaching of teacher candidates and residents.
