Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and GCP) to support business applications and services.
  • Kubernetes Administration: Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure seamless deployment, scaling, and operation of applications.
  • CI/CD Implementation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and streamline development workflows.
  • Repository Management: Manage code repositories and ensure best practices for version control, branching strategies, and code reviews.
  • Monitoring & Optimization: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure optimal cloud performance and proactive incident management.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with security best practices and standards across cloud environments and proactively identify potential security issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to support cloud-based projects and provide guidance on best practices.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering or systems engineering, with hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
  • Strong experience with containerization and orchestration tools, particularly Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge and experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Bitbuck Pipelines,, GitLab CI, or similar).
  • Proficient in managing repositories using tools like Git and Bitbucket/GitHub/GitLab.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
  • Familiarity with security best practices for cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts as they relate to cloud environments.
